This is a handkerchef of my late grandpa's.  Hung in the corner of a box.

Red paper lined the left, blue on the right and yellow on the floor.

I realize these are for learning, and some of them are very crude looking.  I am enjoying these so much

that I have to share.  Each and every exercise that I complete is a total learning experience.

They are all done with a palette knife, and painted in 3 sessions.

On a trip to Sugarpine Park with the weekly plein-air painters group.  
We were scattered throughout the park painting.  It was beautiful weather!
